Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Compliance and Operations Risk Test Senior Specialist to join the Testing Center of Excellence. You will drive excellence in compliance and risk management, execute tests with precision, assess control environments, and lead remediation efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, problem-solving, and strong communication to support the firm's risk management framework and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of controls testing, audit, or operational risk management experience.
• Knowledge of Consumer & Community Banking Home Lending and Auto Business.
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to analyze large data sets to identify exceptions and risk indicators.
• Ability to build partnerships with stakeholders and identify risks and control gaps.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with ability to manage shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing processes to assess the control environment and identify gaps, documenting processes and evidence.
• Collaborate with Process/Control Owner and cross-functional teams on testing schedules and evidence gathering.
• Lead issue validation, action plan quality, and closure with control owners to ensure remediation aligns with risk acceptance.
• Facilitate walkthroughs and meetings with business owners to foster collaboration across engagements.
• Interpret policies and procedures to ensure compliance requirements are implemented and improve testing methodologies.
• Evaluate the function's controls for adequacy, effectiveness, and design to meet regulatory requirements (SOX, etc.).
• Propose and implement improvements to testing methods for efficiency and risk reduction.
