Job summary

ByteDance seeks a Compliance Lead who will serve as the MLRO for a Philippines Non-Bank EMI, reviewing STR filings and finalizing decisions. The role partners with APAC and HQ to translate local regulations into actionable controls for product, operations and policy teams.

The ideal candidate has strong AMLA/ARRG knowledge, GoTRACS filing experience, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced fintech environment in the Philippines. This onsite role reports to the CCO, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline.
• 5+ years of regulatory and AML/CFT compliance experience, with digital payments or fintech in the Philippines.
• Experience dealing with BSP/AMLC, responding to RFIs and examinations.
• Strong understanding of Philippine financial regulations and AML/CFT requirements for EMIs.
• Experience coordinating with regional/global compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure EMI compliance with BSP, AMLC, SEC and other authorities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the compliance program, policies, and training; oversee MTPP/AML/CFT program.
