Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our infrastructure team for an immediate start. You will design, automate, and maintain scalable cloud environments focused on modern data platforms like Databricks.

Work closely with development and operations teams to streamline CI/CD, improve reliability, and implement FinOps and strong security controls.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Cloud Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Hands-on cloud experience with AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Proficient in IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation or Pulumi.
• Experience managing Databricks data platforms and containerized apps (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our infrastructure team for an immediate start. In this role, you will design, automate, and maintain scalable, high-performing cloud environments—with a specialized focus on modern data platforms like Databricks.

Working closely with development and operations teams, you will streamline CI/CD pipelines, drive system reliability, and implement modern cloud operations practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure (IaC): Design, build, and manage secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

• Data Platform Architecture: Provision, maintain, and optimize platform environments supporting modern data and analytics stacks, specifically Databricks.

• CI/CD & Containerization: Develop automated CI/CD pipelines and container deployment workflows to enable seamless, reliable software releases.

• Modern Cloud Operations: Implement automated monitoring, logging, alerting, self-healing capabilities, and continuous cost optimization (FinOps).

• Troubleshooting & Security: Resolve complex infrastructure issues while continually optimizing for performance, high availability, and tight security controls.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must-Haves

• Experience: 4+ years in Cloud Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

• Cloud Expertise: Deep hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

• Infrastructure as Code: Strong proficiency writing and managing IaC via Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.

• Data & Containers: Hands-on experience managing modern data platforms (Databricks) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).

• CI/CD Pipelines: Proven track record building automated pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.

• Communication: Fluent written and spoken English skills.
