Job summary

Cardinal Health in Taguig, Metro Manila, Philippines, is seeking an observability and monitoring engineer to enhance our cloud monitoring posture. You will collaborate with Infrastructure, App, and BI teams to enable self-service monitoring across multi-provider deployments and on-prem data centers.

The role requires hands-on experience in Dynatrace, Splunk, AWS, GCP, and strong scripting skills in Python/PowerShell. Excellent communication and cross-functional mentoring are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Experience with monitoring platforms such as Dynatrace, BigPanda, AWS, GCP, and Splunk.
• Proficiency in Application Performance Monitoring, Synthetics, End User Experience, Mobile app, and Infrastructure monitoring.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, SQL and cloud services.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Infrastructure, Application, and Business Intelligence teams leveraging a monitoring self-service philosophy.
• Support large-scale Monitoring deployments across multiple providers, with data feeds from multiple on-premise data centers.
• Monitor and maintain performance, availability, and capacity, including version upgrades, permissions, and audit compliance.
• Create and maintain documentation related to operational processes.
• Assists in system/application integrations with Enterprise Monitoring instrumentation.
• Mentor members of the technical staff to support and assist in monitoring-related activities.
