Job summary

Risewave Consulting, Inc. seeks a senior DevOps/Cloud engineer to collaborate with clients and workstream leads on business, functional, technical, and implementation requirements.

You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines on Azure and on-premises, integrating security tools and automating infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep. Key focus areas include Azure DevOps, Docker/Kubernetes, AKS, and end-to-end API development, with SDLC guided by Agile methodologies.

Qualifications

• Development experience with Spring Framework.
• Container technologies experience (Docker/Kubernetes/AKS).
• Experience with Azure SDK & CLI.
• DevOps experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD.
• Infrastructure automation with Terraform or Bicep.
• Solid understanding of Azure PaaS/SaaS/IaaS offerings.
• End-to-end API development experience.
• Hands-on SDLC under Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements across business, functional, and technical domains.
• Set up and manage Azure DevOps platform.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for On-Prem and Azure cloud.
• Create CI/CD pipelines for Java, .NET, SQL, Data platform, and Power Platform.
• Integrate security tools (SonarCloud, Veracode, Fortify) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop automation scripts with Bash, PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, and APIs.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform or Bicep.
• Use tools to orchestrate solutions and deploy API/cloud-native apps on Azure (Logic Apps, Functions, APIM, AKS).
• Collaborate with stakeholders; contribute to end-to-end SDLC in agile settings.

• Work closely with our clients and other workstream leads to understand their business, functional, technical, and implementation requirements.
• Setup and manage Azure DevOps platform.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipeline in On-Premises and Cloud platforms like Azure.
• Setup CI/CD pipeline for different technologies: Java, .Net, SQL, Data platform, Power Platform.
• Integrate Security Tools in the CI/CD pipeline such as SonarCloud, Veracode, Fortify, etc.
• Write automation scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, ang Cloud or third-party APIs.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Bicep.
• Use various tools to orchestrate solutions.
• Develop API and cloud-native solutions on Azure (Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure APIM, Azure Kubernetes Services…)

Skills and attributes for success

• Development experience with Spring Framework
• Development experience in Container technologies
• Experience working with Azure SDK & CLI
• DevOps experience in Azure DevOps for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Infrastructure Automation Experience using Terraform or Bicep.
• Good Knowledge on Azure PaaS, SaaS and IaaS offerings
• End to End API development experience
• Hands-on experience across all phases of SDLC using agile methodologies

Ideally, you’ll also

• Experience in communicating technical study conclusions through written reports and presentations, using tools such as PowerPoint/Excel/Word/Visio.
• Experience working under agile delivery methodology.
• Experience with researching new products/tools and rapid prototyping.

What we look for

• BS-IT/CS/CE with a sound industry experience of 6 to 10 years
• CI/CD pipeline setup/deployment using Azure DevOps, or Github Actions
• Working experience on Docker, Kubernetes or AKS
• Infrastructure automation experience on Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience working on CMMI / Agile / SAFE methodologies
• Front End Development using Angular / React
