Qualifications

• 8+ years of total Data Engineering experience.
• Python: 4/5 proficiency.
• SQL: 3/5 proficiency.
• Databricks: Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience.
• Snowflake: Candidates with Snowflake experience may also be considered.
• Hands-on exposure to Microsoft Azure.
• Strong experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with large-scale data processing in cloud platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including analytics and product.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize automated data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and data models within the cloud platform.
• Develop solutions to ingest, process, transform, and store large volumes of data efficiently.
• Support big data migration initiatives with data accuracy and performance in mind.
• Create scalable ETL/ELT workflows from diverse sources.
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to meet data requirements for initiatives.
• Design and develop data marts and custom extracts aligned with business needs.
• Ensure data governance and regulatory compliance across platforms.
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot incidents, and implement preventive measures.
• Document workflows, schemas, and technical specs for operations.
