Job summary

WHR Global Consulting seeks a Senior Cloud & AI Engineer to design, build, and lead cloud-native applications that support AI, machine learning, and data-driven solutions.

Collaborate with the Data Team to turn analytics concepts into scalable, production-ready apps, implement CI/CD, MLOps, and ensure scalability, reliability, and security using AWS or Databricks. You will mentor junior developers and influence architectural decisions to deliver robust systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS) or Databricks (Delta Live Tables, MLflow, Workflows).
• Experience in MLOps, DataOps, or ML pipelines.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in APIs, microservices, and system integration.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop cloud-native applications in AWS or Databricks.
• Build high-performance APIs, microservices, and automation workflows for ML/AI applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for deployment and monitoring.
• Operationalize ML models (MLOps) and integrate with data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and IT teams to transform prototypes into robust applications.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Ensure best practices for scalability, reliability, and security.
