Job summary

Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Consultant with extensive EDC experience to guide customers in leveraging Vault CDMS for trial execution. The role is remote from the EU or UK and focuses on data management, integration, and training across life sciences projects.

You will collaborate with sponsor and CRO teams, configure data transfers, and develop SQL listings for data clean-up, while upholding regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with EDC clinical software across data management lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of clinical trial processes, data collection and review.
• Programming in SAS, R, JSON, Python, or SQL with ability to pick up new SQL-based languages.
• Background in life sciences industry with experience across project assessment, planning, development, training, and implementation.
• Experience in a customer-facing role in software professional services or consulting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers and clinical sites, ensuring trial designs meet goals and providing training.
• Interpret clinical protocol requirements and project specs applying best practices.
• Lead database development activities per project plan coordinating with sponsor, CRO, and vendors.
• Coordinate with data providers to configure data transfers.
• Configure forms and rules in Vault CDMS and build SQL-based listings for data cleaning.
