Qualifications

• Diploma of Engineering or Advanced Diploma of Engineering, equivalent Senior Technical Associate – CADD.
• Eight+ years of civil drafting experience.
• High level drafting and detailing skills.
• Strong CAD software proficiency: AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise; Civil 3D is a plus.
• Exposure to diverse business models and industry best practices.
• Preferably experience on Australian projects.
• Ability to deliver under time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concise engineering drawings from sketches and design information unassisted.
• Comply with CAD Standards and Quality Systems relevant to specialization and location and apply standard techniques.
• Undertake reviews of engineering drawings for CAD/Quality compliance.
• Manage and monitor quality of work by others; mentor less experienced drafters.
• Fulfil Project Technician role; manage drafting deliverables, resources, and communication.
• Demonstrate time management and workload adaptability.
• Assist colleagues to improve client feedback and satisfaction.
• Evaluate staff performance per HR procedures.
• Adhere to SHEQ obligations.
• Perform tasks assigned by leadership aligned with experience and qualifications.
