Job summary

Chevron Philippines Inc. is seeking a Category Specialist based in Makati City, Philippines.

The role drives full-spectrum procurement for the International Fuel & Lubricants business in the country, with emphasis on category leadership, supplier collaboration, and value creation. The candidate will manage direct and indirect procurement, develop contracting plans, and work with stakeholders to deliver sustainable cost savings and compliant P2P processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related fields.
• Five years of procurement experience.
• Experience with category management and supplier management.
• Experience with total cost of ownership and should-cost modeling.
• Knowledge of SAP in procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supply market analysis and benchmarking.
• Develop annual contracting plans aligned with business objectives.
• Engage stakeholders to review and prioritize projects.
• Develop procurement strategies to achieve cost savings.
• Lead negotiations and contract development.
• Manage supplier performance and contracts throughout their lifecycle.
• Ensure P2P compliance and end-to-end procurement processes.
