Job summary

FIS in the Philippines is seeking an experienced software support specialist to maintain high availability for one or more applications, including incident analysis, deployment, performance monitoring and certification. This is a hybrid role with three days in-office and two days remote.

The ideal candidate has strong C/C++ experience and familiarity with the payments domain, plus the ability to communicate clearly with technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of C/C++ experience.
• Payments domain experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for a software production processing environment.
• Install, maintain and support application components and third-party software.
• Diagnose and resolve incidents and problems related to applications and supporting software.
• Assist development teams in requirements definition, system design and project delivery.
• Provide 24-hour support and on-call rotation readiness.
• Maintain documentation and operational reporting for applications.
