Job summary

IDEMIA is seeking an experienced software engineer in Manila to transform requirements into robust enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET, EF, SQL Server, and REST APIs. You will participate in the full development lifecycle and collaborate with Product Owners across France to deliver features and ensure quality.

The role involves architecting scalable solutions, driving technical excellence, mentoring juniors, and supporting CI/CD pipelines for globally deployed products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in software development using C#, .NET Core/.NET, Entity Framework, and SQL scripting.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs, web applications, and backend services in a modern Microsoft technology stack.
• Solid understanding of MSSQL databases, Git version control, and CI/CD concepts and deployment practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with direct collaboration across international teams and stakeholders.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude or similar AI platforms) is an advantage; strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications and services using C#, .NET Core/.NET, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and REST APIs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders in France to define business requirements, plan sprint deliverables, and demonstrate completed features.
• Architect and build scalable software solutions by defining application structures, design patterns, reusable components, and technical frameworks.
• Develop high-quality, secure, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards, source control practices, testing methodologies, and software engineering best practices.
• Conduct design reviews and code reviews, identify performance improvements, and drive technical excellence across development activities.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application deployments, troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and enhancement initiatives for globally deployed products.
• Mentor junior developers, contribute to technical governance, and provide guidance on architecture, development best practices, and complex technical problem solving.
