Job summary

Crawford & Company seeks an experienced software engineer to design, code, test, debug, and document complex systems. You will collaborate with analysts, engineers, and programmers to design robust interfaces and scalable solutions.

The role requires 5+ years in C# with REST APIs, AWS experience (Lambda/Fargate/ElasticCache/SQS/SNS/CloudFormation), and a strong OO development background. Proficiency with Elasticsearch/ELK, MuleSoft, Angular, GraphQL, and Azure DevOps is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years C# experience with REST API development.
• 2+ years AWS including Lambda, Fargate, ElasticCache, SQS, SNS and/or CloudFormation.
• Elasticsearch/ELK stack a strong plus.
• Strong OO development background.
• MuleSoft, Angular, Auth0, CI/CD in Azure DevOps, GraphQL are strong plusses.
• Experience implementing enterprise-scale, high volume, high availability systems.
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers.
• High standards of code quality and troubleshooting skills.
• Must be available on East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

• Develops new software and makes complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations.
• Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design systems and understand project limitations and interfaces.
• Maintains technical documentation.
