Why this is important to us This role is essential to ensuring the quality and reliability of our Global Standard Solutions. By collaborating with stakeholders and service providers, you help identify and resolve gaps in system integration testing. Your support during user acceptance testing and operational readiness testing ensures smooth adoption of updates. Tracking progress, risks, and dependencies provides transparency, while designing and executing test cases guarantees that every solution we deliver is trusted, resilient, and aligned with business needs.
What you will be responsible for
- Execute SIT activities during the lifecycle of the onboarding project
- Monitor, react on and debug failing tests in collaboration with external service providers
- Collaborate with external service providers and internal stakeholders to review test results and address gaps across the SIT process
- Support and consult other teams and business users during UAT and ORT phases
- Support testing of updates to Global Standard Solutions (SimCorp One Platform and Managed Business Services solution) that have impact on SIT processes and workflows
- Track and report testing progress, risks, and dependencies
- Collaborate with various stakeholders along the value chain from Value Stream up to Business Services
- Design, maintain, and execute test cases and scenarios based on functional and technical requirements
- Manage defect lifecycle and reporting using Azure DevOps
- Ensure test readiness and quality sign-off in collaboration with the external service providers and project stakeholders
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and coordination activities as part of the delivery process
What we value
- Knowledge and experience in SimCorp Dimension and testing activities, and data-mapping experience would be an advantage
- Knowledge of different SCD instruments types (e.g., Equities, Bonds, FX, Deposits, Mutual Funds, Derivatives) and their lifecycles (e.g. CTM, trading platforms, SWIFT)
- Alternatively, SimCorp Dimension knowledge in at least one of the following domains is required: Trade Processing (Securities or Derivatives), Corporate Actions, Reconciliation, Fund Administration, Reporting
- DevOps mindset and belief in test driven development
- Ability to drive transformation, and curiosity to learn about business processes
- Great collaborative skills, highly motivated colleague who works well with others and is outcome-oriented
- Data analysis skills (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI) and attention to detail
- 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Tester or Business Consultant within asset management, investment operations, or financial services
Other Requirements
- (Primary) APAC with flexibility in EMEA hours (depending on business needs)
- Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office)
