Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead ERP transformation initiatives, analyze financial operations, and define business requirements for Oracle EBS and Fusion solutions. You will produce detailed deliverables, support training, and provide ongoing progress updates across functional teams in a multinational context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Operations, Information Systems, or related discipline or equivalent.
• 8+ years in business transformation and process improvement in international environments.
• 5+ years implementing Oracle ERP (EBS or Fusion) Financials including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Pension, etc.
• Ability to support decision-making at all levels and implement new operational processes.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in process mapping, requirements definition, and documentation.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS functionalities and Oracle analytics.
• Familiarity with SDLC and ERP integrations; proficiency in MS Office.

About the Role:

The Senior Business Analyst will drive business process improvement and ERP transformation initiatives by analyzing financial operations, defining business and functional requirements, and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to deliver effective Oracle EBS and Fusion solutions.

The scope of work covers the following:

i. Understand the current business structure, functions, processes, and system landscape related to ERP (EBS and Fusion).

ii. Assist with triage, impact analysis of reported production issues.

iii. Document, review and produce detailed business process flows and functional requirements. Identify business challenges and propose process improvements in the current or future version of the ERP platform as deemed necessary.

iv. Participate in workshops to provide inputs to business process improvements and review the impact of the recommendations to existing processes and other initiatives.

v. Validate recommendations and roadmap from IT against business processes and functional requirements.

vi. Create relevant project-related documents such as business process flows, meeting minutes, training materials, enhancement list, etc.

vii. Conduct and/or support necessary training or knowledge transfer sessions.

viii. Provide periodic work progress status reporting.

The BA is expected to produce / support the following key deliverables:

• Detailed functional and business requirements


• Detailed business process flows and corresponding write-up


• Requirements mapping which includes creation of Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and aligning Business Needs to System Capabilities


• Business challenges and proposed process improvements


• Data gaps between current and future versions of ERP


• Presentation materials


• Training materials


• Meeting minutes


• Enhancement list


• Establishment & maintenance of the collaboration site for storing relevant documents.


• Transfer knowledge to other staff and personnel as needed.


• Other deliverables as required by the Business Project Manager

Requirement and Qualification (Education & Work Experience)

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Operations, Information Systems, or other related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Over 8 years of strong business transformation, process improvement, business and technical architecture experience in an international environment


• Over 5 years of implementation experience in Oracle ERP (EBS or Fusion) Financials covering AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Pension, etc.


• Ability to support decision-making at all levels and support the implementation of new operational processes, performance management systems and changes in culture required to deliver maximum value to audiences


• Deep analytical assessment of the potential to improve, design, and implement a new way of working through strong and collaborative communication.


• Business and functional requirements definition, implementation support and documentation exposure and experience


• Experienced in business process knowledge in project management, procurement management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, loan accounting, profit and cost center management, data & analytics.


• Good knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) functionalities and related Oracle reporting and analytics platform


• Knowledge of business process mapping, mining and visualization (i.e., Pipefy, Visio, Lucidchart, etc.)


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite


• Familiarity and exposure to systems development lifecycle principles


• Familiarity with ERP landscape including integration with other applications.


• Strong client orientation, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills


• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and ability to effectively interact with the members of the project team and relevant stakeholders.


• Preferably with experience in a multilateral development bank and/or experience in the banking sector.
