Job summary

HR Partner is seeking a BAS Manager to oversee Moore Australia clients with a focus on quality service delivery, compliance, and team productivity. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and achieving budget targets in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will guide the accounting, taxation, and management reporting functions, leveraging Xero, MYOB, and Reckon APS to support advisory outcomes and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level accounting degree required; related disciplines considered.
• Completed CAANZ or CPA accreditation is required.
• Minimum 9 years in a management role within a public practice environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and company secretarial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon APS.
• Oversee asset registers and HP schedules; manage reconciliations.
• Lead and supervise team performance, coaching and development.
• Manage taxation obligations including BAS, FBT, payroll tax and SGC statements.
• Prepare management accounts and cash flow reports for diverse entities.
• Develop tax planning strategies and document support for client meetings.
• Provide high-quality client service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Drive process improvements, support business development, and budget targets.
