Job summary

AIA Group is seeking a Senior Business Continuity Manager to lead the BCM program, minimise disruption to critical functions, and safeguard information during disasters. You will collaborate across IT, Operations and Risk to implement strategies and ensure robust recovery capabilities.

With 5–7 years in BCM in financial services or tech, you will develop plans, perform risk analyses, coordinate testing, and drive proactive remediation with leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience developing and supporting BCM programs in a Financial Services or Technology company.
• Globally recognized BCM certification (CBCI/CBCP) is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in Project Management as well as experience in risk management, emergency planning and crisis management.
• Possess strong leadership skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with a great degree of autonomy and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage the company BCM program in accordance to BCM Policy and Standards.
• Support all activities necessary to respond to business interruption.
• Work with stakeholders to implement BCM in compliance with Group policy and local regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior operations and risk leaders to ensure remediation plans are tracked.
• Maintain the corporate business continuity program addressing disaster recovery and emergency response.
• Manage BC/Recovery site aligned with business requirements and affiliates.
• Develop, produce, and update BIAs, BCP/DR materials and documentation.
• Plan and coordinate all BCM testing with IT, Operations, and other units.
• Review impact analyses and tiering of RTO/MTPD levels.
• Liaise with regional BCM Coordinators to develop effective relationships.
• Perform risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Assist in crisis management during business interruptions.
• Develop status reports on departmental continuity plans and present to management.
