Job summary

White Cloak Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Core Java/Backend Developer to enhance backend systems supporting web, Android, and iOS platforms.

You will transform user stories into reliable backend functionality, build maintainable services via REST APIs, and improve performance, quality, and automation for end-to-end system behavior. The role requires 3+ years of Java/Spring experience, strong API/microservice understanding, and a proven track record in debugging and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering, Science & Technology, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with Java and Spring/SpringBoot.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum processes, language, and ceremonies.
• Solid API, microservice, and integration concepts knowledge.
• Strong analytical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Clear and timely communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Translate user stories into functional applications.
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable backend code.
• Work with REST APIs to integrate systems across platforms.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs; devise fixes.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Conduct unit testing to ensure design conformance at the unit level.
