Job summary

solaireresort is seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to design, develop and maintain robust APIs and services in a high‑transaction platform. You will integrate with payment, reporting, and gaming‑related components while ensuring security and scalability.

You will collaborate with frontend teams, QA, DevOps, and product owners to deliver reliable backend systems, improve performance, and support ongoing platform modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Solid professional experience in backend software development.
• Experience with Java, Node.js, Go, C#, Python or similar.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong SQL knowledge with MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server/Oracle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, version control and SDLC practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, containers and messaging queues.
• Experience with observability, monitoring, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Support platform enhancements, feature development, and maintenance.
• Maintain backend integrations with internal systems and third‑party providers.
• Analyze requirements and propose implementable solutions.
• Triage production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Improve performance, reliability, and security of backend systems.
• Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders; participate in code reviews.
