Job summary

Quik Hire Staffing is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js, AWS) for a fully remote role. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for a high-traffic platform in a cloud-native environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient, low-latency solutions, implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and lead architectural decisions for cloud infrastructure using AWS services and IaC tools. Remote, globally distributed team, great growth potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with Node.js backend development.
• Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with RESTful and GraphQL API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS).
• Knowledge of databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
