Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional data engineering experience in enterprise-scale pipelines.
• Strong hands-on Azure Databricks and PySpark experience.
• Cloud-native data engineering patterns, ingestion, transformation, orchestration, monitoring.
• Experience building data pipelines from multiple source systems.
• Data modeling, data marts, curated data layers for analytics and reporting.
• Ability to clarify requirements with stakeholders and translate to technical details.
• Experience with job orchestration tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks Workflows, Airflow.
• Data governance, access control, metadata, lineage, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize automated data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build scalable ingestion, transformation, validation, and publishing processes for enterprise data consumption.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, data definitions, and transformation rules.
• Translate requirements into source-to-target mappings, data models, and delivery plans.
• Develop reusable data engineering components to improve delivery speed and reliability.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, auditability, security, and compliance across pipelines.
• Monitor pipeline health, performance, cost, and reliability; troubleshoot incidents.
