Job summary

KMC Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of robust cloud solutions on AWS. You will champion modern DevOps practices and ensure high availability, security, and cost efficiency across cloud-native systems.

As a senior technical leader, you will drive IaC efforts with Terraform and AWS SAM, manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS or self-managed), and automate CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Docker.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud architecture and services.
• Strong IaC experience using Terraform and AWS SAM.
• Proven Kubernetes and container orchestration experience.
• Proficient with Docker and container image management.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub.
• Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and monitoring.
• Strong scripting (Bash, Python) and automation mindset.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team and lead the design, development, and deployment of robust, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on AWS. This role requires deep expertise in infrastructure-as-code (IaC), container orchestration, serverless architectures, and CI/CD automation.

As a key member of the cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for driving best practices in cloud infrastructure design, implementing scalable solutions using AWS SAM, and championing modern DevOps workflows using GitHub Actions and Docker. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance of our cloud-native systems

What does a typical day look like?

• Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud solutions on AWS using serverless and container-based architectures.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and AWS SAM.
• Build and manage Kubernetes clusters and container orchestration using Amazon EKS or self-managed clusters.
• Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and integrate with existing CI/CD workflows.
• Containerize applications using Docker, ensuring portability and consistency across environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure performance, security, and cost.
• Advocate and implement best practices for DevOps, infrastructure automation, and cloud-native design.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support cloud-first transformation initiatives.
• Document designs, procedures, and knowledge sharing across teams.

What qualities are we seeking?
