Umpisa Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automated testing across web, mobile, and API applications. You will advance test frameworks and ensure quality through modern automation tools.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of automation testing and leadership experience, hands-on with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and CI/CD integrations, and thrives in a collaborative, agile environment in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of automation testing and leadership experience.
Willingness to take on people management responsibilities.
Proficiency with Selenium, Appium, Playwright and CI tools.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API apps.
Create and maintain automated test cases and reusable frameworks.
Develop and execute API automation tests for integrations.
Run cross-browser and cross-device tests with BrowserStack.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or Jenkins).
Manage source code with Git/Azure Repos.
Analyze results, identify defects, and collaborate with devs.
Improve automation frameworks and test coverage.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
Perform performance and load testing when required.
Explore Playwright for efficiency.
