Job summary

ERNI is a fast-growing software development company with a service center in Metro Manila. We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to design, implement and maintain enterprise-grade automated testing across Web/UI, API, and backend systems.

You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to CI/CD integration and quality metrics. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in test automation, hands-on Datadog and Power Automate experience, and a solid

Qualifications

6+ years of experience in Test Automation Engineering, QA or Software Testing.
Hands-on with automation tools and platforms such as Datadog, Power Automate, and industry-leading solutions.
Experience designing and maintaining enterprise-level test automation frameworks and solutions.

Responsibilities

Analyze requirements, user stories, and test cases to identify automation opportunities and define automation scope.
Perform automation feasibility assessments and POCs to recommend optimal automation solutions.
Collaborate with Automation Architects and stakeholders to recommend automation strategies, tools and standards.
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts and reusable automation components using standard client tools (e.g. Datadog).
Automate testing across Web/UI, API, Database, Desktop, Cloud, and Enterprise applications.
Integrate and execute automation suites within CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
Monitor automation execution, troubleshoot failures, analyze results, and ensure script stability and maintainability.
Manage test assets, execution results, defect lifecycle, and reporting in Azure DevOps (ADO).
Analyze automation metrics, trends, and quality indicators to drive continuous improvement and optimization.
Prepare and present automation status reports, dashboards, risks, issues, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with automation standards, governance processes, and best practices.
Support test closure activities, knowledge transfer, and BAU handover of automation assets and documentation.
As needed, conduct/execute manual testing with test scenarios, cases, scripts and evidence.
