Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Australian Tax Accountant to prepare Financial Statements and Tax Returns in Xero. You will work with clients to ensure accurate reporting in line with Australian tax law.

Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements using Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks, handling Income Tax Returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships and companies, and managing BAS and PAYG compliance under ATO guidelines, plus bookkeeping in Xero with payroll

Qualifications

• Experience preparing Financial Statements and Tax Returns using Xero and other leading accounting software.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Tax Law and compliance requirements.
• Ability to review financial data for accuracy and tax treaty implications.

Looking for an experienced Australian Tax Accountant, who can prepare Financial Statements and Tax Returns in Xero. Must be proficient in Xero and have a sound knowledge of the Australian Tax Law.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare, Review and analyse Financial Statements such as Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss statements using respective clients accounting systems such as Xero, MYOB & Quickbooks.
• Prepare Income Tax Returns for Australian clients, including individuals, trusts, partnerships and companies.
• Prepare and/or review correctness of monthly or quarterly tax reports such as Business Activity Statement (GST) and Instalment Activity Statement (PAYG) in accordance to ATO Guidelines
• Bookkeeping in Xero including
  • Xero file setup/conversion from MYOB to Xero
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Payroll Setup & Processing
