Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Manila seeks a Principal Auditor (Assistant Vice President) to strengthen Group Audit’s local presence. You will lead audits, validate findings, assess risks, and escalate issues to senior management while maintaining regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Advanced Degree (Masters/Juris Doctor) and professional certifications preferred.
• Experience in audit within financial services, leading audits or validations.
• Strong regulatory knowledge and risk/control environment understanding.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to articulate issues clearly.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to boost productivity and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assess findings by walkthroughs, identify risks and controls, define test plans.
• Conclude on materiality and overall test results.
• Stay updated on regulatory/audit developments and inform GA team.
• Escalate emerging risks to senior management via forums/reports.
• Build strategic internal/external relationships to boost performance.
• Report on validation coverage and flag delays or gaps promptly.
