Job summary

D&V Philippines is seeking a Senior Auditor – Audit Data Analytics to enhance audit data analytics, develop Power BI models, and ensure data integrity for audit engagements. You will extract, clean, and upload datasets, collaborate with engagement teams, and support analytics tasks to meet deadlines.

The role involves building dashboards, validating data quality, and staying current with best practices in audit analytics and data visualisation.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial/ERP systems (e.g., TechnologyOne, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle NetSuite, Xero, MYOB).
• Strong background in analysing large datasets using Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and ETL tools (IDEA, Alteryx).
• Hands-on experience building, scheduling, and monitoring ETL pipelines (Azure Data Factory/Fabric).
• Proficient in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modelling) and SQL, with experience creating dashboards and optimised queries for audit analytics.
• Experience with Databricks and API-based data extraction (REST/SOAP) is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of audit principles and applying data analytics to risk assessment and substantive testing.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills; Python or R knowledge is a plus.

• Collaborate with technical experts to extract and analyse large financial data sets.
• Extract, clean, transform, and upload data into proprietary audit software.
• Perform data integrity checks and ensure data accuracy for audit engagements.
• Liaise with stakeholders to identify data needs for analytics tasks.
• Develop and customise visualisation templates and dashboards for audits.
• Develop, modify, and maintain Power BI models for audit planning and reporting.
• Document data processes and dashboard logic for audit trails.
• Provide training and support on data analytics tools and techniques.
