Job summary

Our Clients in Makati City is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to lead audit engagements for Australian clients across industries. This on-site role offers exposure to ASA, AASB, IFRS, and international reporting, with mentoring of junior staff.You will plan and perform audits from start to finish, review workpapers and financial statements, and coordinate with Australian engagement teams to meet deadlines. CPA or non-CPA candidates with at least 3 years external audit experience are welcome.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy required.
CPA or Non-CPA candidates welcome.
At least 3 years of external audit experience.
Experience with Australian clients preferred.
Knowledge of ASA, AASB, IFRS and reporting requirements.
Experience using audit software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong English communication skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple audit engagements.
Willing to work on-site in Makati City.

Responsibilities

Lead audit engagements for Australian clients from planning to completion.
Prepare and review audit workpapers, financial statements, and schedules.
Conduct risk assessments, substantive testing, analytical review procedures, and internal control evaluations.
Ensure compliance with ASA, AASB, IFRS and reporting requirements.
Identify audit issues and recommend practical solutions to clients.
Coordinate with Australian clients and engagement teams to meet deadlines.
Supervise and review the work of junior audit associates.
Assist managers and partners in preparing audit reports and communicating engagement findings.
Ensure audit documentation complies with firm policies and standards.
