Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join our Industrial Water team. You will lead architectural design packages for complex water facilities and coordinate with process, MEP, and civil teams across regions to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will mentor junior staff, influence design standards, and contribute to global projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Licensed status as Architect or equivalent.
• 12+ years in industrial water/wastewater or water-treatment facility design.
• Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
• Experience leading architectural scope and coordinating with Process, Structures, MEP, Civil, and Health & Safety teams.
• Proficiency in Revit; working knowledge of AutoCAD; visualization tools a plus.
• Experience with international teams and global delivery models; ability to collaborate across geographies.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design packages for industrial water facilities, shaping solutions that respond to client goals and constraints.
• Coordinate with process, MEP, structural, and health & safety teams to ensure integrated, buildable designs.
• Review deliverables for project standards, regulatory approvals, and client guidelines.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and design excellence.
• Support design development for new-build, brownfield, and live-site conditions.
