Practical DevSecOps is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our content engineering team. You will drive security in DevSecOps workflows, develop hands-on security content, and collaborate with security professionals from diverse industries.

The role emphasizes embedding security across SDLC, building scalable lab scenarios, and creating practical lab content for learners worldwide. A remote setup is supported and collaboration is key.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application security or product security roles.
• Experience with DevSecOps, AI, Cloud Native Technologies, and Zero Trust networks.
• Good understanding of application security concepts and tools.
• Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go).
• Ability to write detailed technical guides and create presentations.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote team setup.

Responsibilities

• Help security professionals and developers in SDLC, especially in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, verification, and maintenance of the DevSecOps Environment.
• Embed security in CI/CD and DevOps pipelines.
• Attack and defend AI models, inference endpoints, and MCP servers.
• Build new hands-on lessons and content.
• Help build tools to make it easier and faster to release new content.
• Keep existing courses, lessons, and challenges upto date.
• Proactively look for ways to scale, streamline and improve business processes.
• Ensure final deliverables meets the organization's quality requirements.
• Help professionals with their questions by being available through support forums.
• Research bleeding edge technologies to build lab scenarios.
• Create lab infrastructure to let learners focus on building specific skills.
• Be the forward person to actively support learners with their queries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
