Job summary

Tech Mahindra Philippines is seeking a Software Engineer – Integration to design, develop, and maintain API/integration solutions that connect diverse systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture requirements and implement robust data integration processes for accuracy and scale.

The role requires 5+ years in software engineering with integration expertise, strong .NET/C#, Angular, REST APIs, and data lake technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer with integration expertise (5+ years).
• Strong backend development with .NET/C# and frontend skills with Angular.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services (SOAP).
• Familiarity with OAuth, JWT and API security concepts.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Hands-on with version control (Git) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with data lake technologies (Azure Data Lake, AWS Lake Formation, BigQuery).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain API and integration solutions to enable communication between systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design integration solutions that align with business needs.
• Implement and manage data integration processes, ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms.
• Optimize API and integration solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.
• Design and manage relational database schemas, performance, and queries.
• Utilize data lake technologies to store and process large datasets.
• Document API and integration processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to keep solutions cutting-edge.
