Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a Data Engineer to design and build cloud-based data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support media performance reporting. The role focuses on maintaining data quality, governance, and efficient data workflows across platforms.

The ideal candidate will work with internal data strategy and analytics teams, manage project plans, and ensure deadlines are met while leveraging tools like SQL, Python, and Databricks in a cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• 4+ years to 5 years in data governance/ETL/BI environments preferred.
• Experience across multiple media channels and large datasets is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineers, developers and UX designers to build data pipelines and reporting workflows.
• Assist with CI/CD pipelines with offshore teams.
• Capture data architecture requirements from stakeholders and document them.
• Migrate legacy data platforms to new data solutions while ensuring data quality.
• Deploy client onboarding to cloud data solutions and provide ongoing support.
