Job summary

Xinyx Design Consultancy & Services, Inc. is seeking a Staff AMS Layout Engineer / AMS Layout Lead to drive analog and mixed-signal layout projects. You will execute hands-on layout work, guide engineers, and liaise with circuit designers to ensure quality and timely tapeouts.

The role requires strong leadership, a solid foundation in AMS layout methods, and the ability to manage tasks, risks, and dependencies across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC layout.
• Hands-on AMS layout implementation and physical verification closure.
• Experience leading or coordinating layout activities within a project team.
• Ability to interface with circuit designers, leads, stakeholders, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on analog and mixed-signal IC layout implementation.
• Execute floorplanning, placement, routing, shielding, and parasitic-aware optimization.
• Support layout verification and closure, including DRC, LVS, ERC, antenna, density, and PEX checks.
• Lead ECO implementation, reviews, documentation, handoff, and tapeout preparation.
• Coordinate project tasks, track milestones, and provide status updates.
