Remitly Philippines is seeking a Compliance Officer and AML Compliance Officer to oversee the local compliance program and manage regulatory risk. You will ensure adherence to BSP rules for money service businesses and AMLA, reporting to the Head of Compliance APAC.

You will document procedures, liaise with BSP/AMLC, and lead training and monitoring programs to maintain robust controls across the Philippine operation.

Qualificações

• 10+ years in compliance & AML, ideally in financial services / fintech.
• Experience with BSP and AMLC regulatory obligations is mandatory.
• Proven problem solving and analytical mindset.
• Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive with extreme attention to detail and discretion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Document and update compliance manuals and MTPP documentation.
• Act as BSP/AMLC contact and coordinate with authorities.
• Provide regular compliance reporting to Board and Management.
• Maintain a monitoring program for breaches and reporting.
• Define knowledge requirements for regulatory updates.
• Manage regulatory training and awareness for staff.
• Record keeping for breaches and regulatory submissions.
• Liaise with BSP/AMLC and other authorities as needed.
• Oversee AML policy day-to-day operations and controls.
• Process notifications under AMLA and related acts.
• File CTRs and STRs with AMLC within deadlines.
• Collaborate with external parties and internal stakeholders.
• Identify compliance vulnerabilities and propose mitigations.
• Review technical solutions to support initiatives.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise the business.
• Undertake ad hoc duties as required.
