Job summary

Yuno is hiring a Staff AI Engineer for Payments Intelligence to architect and ship production AI agents and intelligence products. You will lead multi-step agents, handle multilingual conversations, and push for safe, scalable AI at scale within a compliance-aware, multi-market environment.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate across Product and Data Science, and shape the technical direction for agentic AI, ensuring high reliability and business impact across global payments platforms.

Qualifications

• Extensive software engineering experience with production LLM or AI-agent systems.
• Deep expertise in multi-step agents, tool use, orchestration, memory, and RAG.
• Strong LLM application skills: prompt engineering, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Strong Python for AI/ML, plus backend engineering (Go/Kotlin) to productionize at scale.
• Model serving and LLM inference with cloud infrastructure to run AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead AI agent systems (AIDA and NOVA) and intelligence capabilities.
• Design production multi-step agents, with tool use, orchestration, and memory.
• Build conversational, multilingual experiences across channels and markets.
• Define safety, guardrails, and evaluation for compliant agent behavior.
• Architect client-intelligence systems turning payment data into merchant insights.
• Lead AI Ops automation to streamline internal operations and support.
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Staff Engineers.
