Job summary

Yanfeng International Automotive Technology Co. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to optimize maintenance processes across North American plants and support EAM systems.

You will audit PM programs, help create new PM tasks, and drive improvements in spare parts, manpower, and equipment management. The role requires strong MS Office skills, 3–5 years with EAM, a mechanical/electrical background, and willingness to travel to customer sites and plants in NA.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Audit PM programs at NA plants for PM accuracy, PM Content, spare parts, manpower per NA maintenance audit standard.
• Assist AME and plant teams in creating new PM tasks and schedules for equipment.
• Provide day-to-day plant technical support related to EAM software and optimize PMs to improve labor hours.
• Monitor weekly maintenance KPIs for all NA plants and report improvements.
• Troubleshoot software problems with IT and coordinate resolutions.

Job Description

Essential Functions of Job:

Supervisory Capacity: No Supervisory Responsibilities

• Lives in MX within 1 hours drive of any YF interiors plant
• Performs Audits of North American Plants maintenance departments for PM accuracy, PM Content, spare parts, manpower, etc defined by the North America Maintenance audit standard.
• Aids AME team & plant teams in creation of new PM tasks and PM schedules for new and existing equipment inside of YF plants
• Performs day to day plant technical support related to EAM software
• Optimizes EAM PMs to improve labour hours in maintenance department
• Monitors weekly maintenance KPIs for all plants in NA
• Performs continuous improvement changes to software and reports to meet operational needs
• Troubleshoots software problems and works with IT to obtain resolution
• Transfers and scraps equipment in the software as needed for plants
• Is cross trained to support equipment & spare parts crib inventory software and related projects as needed.
• Performs tasks and projects as assigned by manager

Additional Responsibilities:

• Supports NA operations as tasks and projects are assigned by manager to lead or aid in the install and launch of new programs equipment in plants in NA and NA operations plant recovery support.
• Supports NA plant operations during critical equipment downtime events if needed.

• Understanding of Injection Moulding Machines and auxiliary equipment
• Understanding of Assembly Equipment used to assemble our products
• Hands on maintenance experience with automotive equipment
• Equipment project management cradle to grave
• Thorough understanding of Hexagon EAM 12.0 Software

Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Requirements

• People Leaders/Managers and above and EHS Professionals must be certified on EHS Management Systems (e.g. EMS, OHSMS)
• EHS Professionals, YFIMS (EHS Principle) Auditors must be designated and certified as an EHS Internal Auditor
• Designated EHS Critical Roles must be certified (such as Plant Manager, EHS Professional, Operations Manager, Equipment / Maintenance / Facility Manager, Logistics Manager, Team Leader / Supervisor, Others)
• Technicians/Operators of High-Risk Equipment must be certified before operating (forklift, overhead crane, etc)
• Technicians/Operators of High-Risk Activity (Electrician, Welding, etc.) must be certified to meet specific EHS Qualifications including legal requirements
