Job summary

Manulife is seeking an Actuarial Assistant Manager/Manager to join our Actuarial Function at MGS in the Philippines. You will collaborate with actuaries to drive data analysis, pricing, portfolio modeling, valuation, and risk assessment, influencing strategic decisions.

As a bridge between junior members and management, you’ll lead with analytical rigor, communicate insights clearly, and help shape financial futures in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or related field.
• Progress towards a designation (SOA, ASP) is preferred.
• Experience with actuarial work in Insurance/Financial Services is required.
• MS Office (Excel, VBA, Access) and actuarial software tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with actuaries to support data analysis, risk assessment and business planning.
• Assist in managing the actuarial team to support data analysis, risk assessment and planning.
• Support pricing, portfolio modeling, asset modeling and valuation tasks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure precise financial projections and pricing strategies.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory shifts and new technologies.
