Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements with supporting schedules.
• Supervise junior accounting team members.
• Assist in budget preparation.
• Maintain recording and summarizing of business transactions.
• Implement accounting policies, internal controls, and safeguarding of resources.
• Assign tasks to staff and monitor progress.
• Ensure correct entries and complete documents for journals, payables, and vouchers.
• Ensure proper insurance of company properties.
• Supervise disbursement processes and funding.
• Prepare and post adjusting entries and journal vouchers.
• Review ledger reconciliations and certify accuracy.
• Consolidate entries from books of accounts and analyze accounts.
• Prepare monthly financial statements with schedules for management and government entities.
• Maintain cash funds, purchasing, and change funds.
• Coordinate with other departments and external parties like BIR.
• Maintain accounting records and corporate documentation.
• Assist in budget preparation.
• Prepare schedules for external audit.
• Assist Finance Manager in development of accounting systems.
