Senior Accounting Manager (R2R) leads Record to Report accounting operations in Cebu, Philippines, with oversight across multiple teams, entities, regions, or process towers. This role provides leadership for accounting managers while maintaining accountability for consolidated financial balances, close governance, compliance, and complex accounting matters. The position also plays a key role in transformation and integration activities while supporting technology and AI adoption across the function.
Lead and develop multiple Accounting Managers and their teams within a multinational or shared services environment
Shape transformation and standardization programs across multiple sites
Partner with senior leadership, auditors, and cross-functional integration teams
Influence technology and AI adoption at the functional and departmental level
Work onsite for the first six months before transitioning to a hybrid work setup
Lead multiple Accounting Managers and teams, including coaching, performance calibration, succession planning, and talent management
Oversee accounting activities across multiple entities, regions, or R2R process towers and maintain accountability for consolidated balances
Provide governance for financial close activities, SOX and audit strategy, and escalation of complex technical accounting matters
Represent Finance with senior leadership, auditors, and cross-functional integration stakeholders
Lead large-scale transformation and standardization programs across multiple sites and provide executive-level reporting and dashboards
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent
8 to 10 or more years of accounting or finance experience, including at least 5 years directly managing Accounting Managers or multiple teams within a multinational or shared services environment
Proven experience overseeing multiple entities, regions, or R2R process towers, with deep US GAAP or Country GAAP expertise and accountability for consolidated balances
Strong knowledge of close governance, SOX and audit strategy, complex accounting issue escalation, and strategic stakeholder management
CPA or equivalent accounting qualification, M&A integration or NewCo carve-out experience, outsourced provider management, and familiarity with SAP or Oracle ERP and consolidation architecture are preferred
