Job summary

Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting a Senior Manager for Accounting who will oversee the organization's accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. The role is onsite in Makati City.

Reporting to the company owner, the successful candidate will lead payroll, supervise junior staff, optimize policies and controls, and drive timely financial closes with insightful management reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial controlling or accounting leadership.
• CPA is a plus and full proficiency in regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop junior staff.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full spectrum of accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with BIR, SEC, and other bodies and maintain internal controls.
• Lead payroll processing with confidentiality and accuracy.
• Supervise accounts payable/receivable and assist in month/quarter/year end closes.
• Develop and strengthen accounting policies and procedures for efficiency.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and management reports for decision support.
