Job summary

AlphaSys in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accounting Associate to support day-to-day financial operations for our growing IT consulting business.

You will work closely with the Head of Business Operations (Australia) to ensure accurate processing across transactions, payroll, reconciliations, reporting, and compliance, while also supporting project administration in Xero and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years’ experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Xero and cloud-based accounting systems.
• Experience working with Australian businesses and understanding of Australian accounting and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable in Xero, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Process monthly payroll for Australian employees.
• Support project financial administration in Salesforce, including tracking revenue and costs.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet).
• Ensure compliance with Australian GST and payroll tax requirements.

Job Overview
