Job summary

RELX International in the Philippines seeks an accounting professional to perform end-to-end accounting activities including ledger preparation, reconciliation, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and statutory accounts. The role supports cross-functional finance work with strong analytical, communication, organization, and ERP proficiency.

The candidate should have 3+ years in accounting or financial analysis, and experience with SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft, plus advanced Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting or financial analyst role.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft); strong Excel skills; familiarity with Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Analysis: collate and analyze data using preset tools and formats, often independently.
• Financial Management and Control: track budgets in finance systems and report variances to senior colleagues.
• Insights and Reporting: extract and combine data to generate standard reports.
• Information and Business Advice: resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers.
• Financial Policies, Guidelines, and Protocols: assist in developing and delivering financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Operational Compliance: learn and adhere to organizational policies and regulatory codes.
• Personal Capability Building: pursue ongoing education and develop capabilities through training and coaching.
