What You’ll Do
- Prepare, review, and file timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, EWT, Compensation, Final Tax)
- Ensure full tax compliance for individuals, corporations, and partnerships under BIR regulations
- Lead strategic planning for tax processes and ensure alignment with current BIR rules
- Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in tax laws, Revenue Memorandum Circulars, and the National Internal Revenue Code
- Collaborate with the Accounting Head on audits, tax assessments, and special tax projects
- Manage BIR audits, prepare documentation for LOAs, and represent the company in assessments
- Ensure year-end compliance including Books of Accounts, BIR Form 2316, and Annual Income Tax Returns
- Provide tax planning and advisory to reduce liabilities while ensuring compliance
- Maintain organized and confidential tax records and supporting documents
- Liaise with BIR and other government agencies as needed
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
- CPA license preferred but not required
- With at least 5 years of experience in the accounting field and 2-3 years of experience in tax compliance (assessments and audits), financial reporting, and BIR-related work
- Strong knowledge of:
- Philippine tax laws and BIR procedures
- Revenue Memorandum Circulars and the National Internal Revenue Code
- Construction-specific tax treatments (e.g., joint ventures, RMC No. 21-2025)
- Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS)
- Experience in managing multiple entities\' tax compliance
- Proven ability to handle BIR audits and prepare responses to LOAs
- Familiarity with year-end reporting and government submissions
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work onsite in Makati
