Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Senior Accountant in Manila to lead Legal Entity Accounting within Global Services Finance. You will ensure accurate US and local GAAP/tax reporting, support audits, and uphold internal controls across multiple entities.

The role requires 3–4 years of experience, a relevant accounting degree, and professional certifications are preferred. Strong analytical skills and English fluency are essential for collaboration with global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• CPA, CMA, MBA or other financial certifications preferred.
• 3–4+ years of professional experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be open to new ideas, rapid change and new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Be compliant with applicable laws and regulations and follow guidelines in the J&J Credo.
• Maintain Operational Excellence.
• Timely closing and execution of financial periods per closing calendar and SLA, with SOX/compliance.
• Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of actuals within scope.
• Deep expertise and knowledge of Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations to minimize open items.
• Support auditors and local statutory reporting as needed.
• Maintain strong internal controls and act as a Trusted Business Partner.
