Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Global Finance team in a hands-on role managing cash currency and hedge accounting. You will lead end-to-end accounting processes, drive month-end/quarter-end closings, and ensure internal controls and SOX compliance across a multinational setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent strongly preferred.
• MBA or CGMA are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting processes with timely financial results.
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close per global timelines and SLAs.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open items.
• Analyze financial results and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure SOX/compliance and internal controls adherence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation.
• Drive process improvements and automation.
• Act as SME and guide junior team members.
• Maintain documentation and proper controls during closing.
