Job summary

IQ-EQ is seeking a Review position focused on validating fund accounting deliverables and ensuring quality standards. The role involves detailed reviews of financial statements and supporting complex accounting processes while serving as a technical resource for preparers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred; 4+ years in fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit (2+ in analytics).
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, with strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off on fund accounting reports, calculations, client deliverables, and dashboard data for accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee fund accounting operations, support complex transaction analysis, and provide technical guidance to preparers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to address queries and coordinate deliverables.

ABOUT THE ROLE

A review position responsible for validating fund accounting deliverables and ensuring quality standards. This role performs detailed reviews of financial statements and supports complex accounting processes while serving as a technical resource for preparers. The position focuses on quality assurance and maintaining accounting standards across deliverables.

What You Will Do

• You’ll review and sign off on fund accounting reports, calculations, client deliverables, and dashboard data to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with established procedures and SLAs.
• You’ll oversee fund accounting operations, support complex transaction analysis, provide technical guidance to preparers, and communicate resolutions to technical or operational issues.
• You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to address queries, coordinate deliverables, support onboarding activities, and manage workload planning and scheduling within the team.
• You’ll drive continuous improvement by reviewing processes, procedures, SLAs, workflows, and control frameworks, while documenting exceptions, preparing error reports, and recommending corrective actions.
• You’ll support team development through performance reviews, career discussions, constructive feedback, training, cross-functional collaboration, and participation in new reporting solution implementations and process enhancement initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA (or equivalent) certification preferred, and at least 4 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in performance and analytics, fund accounting, financial reporting, or audit.
• You have a strong understanding of accounting standards, statutory requirements, and regulatory frameworks, with the ability to apply them effectively in a professional environment.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and possess strong communication and documentation skills to clearly articulate processes, findings, and operational risks.
• You demonstrate excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently, manage varying levels of complexity, and deliver high-quality results.
• You are a proactive, adaptable, and collaborative professional with a strong commitment to quality standards, continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and supporting team development and training initiatives.
