Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Senior Accountant, Accounting to Reporting to ensure timely and accurate general ledger recording in line with SLA and global policies. The role involves month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and intercompany processing, with strong data analysis and reporting requirements.

The candidate will build dashboards, validate data, and support internal/external audits, while applying IFRS/GAAP or local GAAP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree preferred in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA license preferred.
• Typically 6–8 years of finance experience in accounting processes.
• General Ledger experience is essential.
• Experience with SAP and Shared Services Centers/BPO is a plus.
• Ability to work under time pressure and maintain integrity and openness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and deliver accurate financial reports.
• Partner with the GL team for correct cutoff, journal entries, and accruals.
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and models for stakeholders.
• Extract and validate financial data, prepare reconciliations, and assist auditors.
• Perform month-end close procedures and variance analysis.
• Maintain dashboards and KPIs for business reporting.
• Support process improvements and stay updated on IFRS/GAAP.
