Keywords Studios is seeking a 3D Animation Lead to spearhead the animation team on diverse game projects. You will conduct reviews, guide hands-on work when needed, and help define workflows while aligning with client requirements and bids.

Strong leadership and pipeline knowledge are essential for success. You will lead efforts in keyframe and mocap animation, with proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, MotionBuilder, Blender, and Unreal Engine.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a 3D game, production or game art services company in a Lead/Associate Lead role.
• Proficient with Maya, 3ds Max, MotionBuilder, Blender and Unreal Engine.
• Knowledge of in-game animations/cinematics pipeline.
• Experience leading animation teams, reviewing work, and giving feedback.
• Ability to decipher client requirements and assist with bids and effort estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead the animation team and conduct first-level animation reviews; may hands-on develop animations as needed.
• Establish workflows, clarify client requirements, and assist with bids and effort estimates.
• Ensure productivity, quality and adherence to timelines in collaboration with project managers.
• Manage client feedback and translate it into actionable tasks for the team.
• Mentor and develop the animation team, assigning roles and providing guidance.
