Supervise production line and control shop‑floor activities to meet production targets, overseeing production/manufacturing operators.
Responsibilities
Overall performance of shift/area concerning delivery and meeting Manufacturing KPI (Productivity, Cycle‑time, On‑time delivery, Quality & Yield).
Plan headcount deployment, allocation of equipment, loading of materials and use of other resources to ensure maximum labor productivity, equipment and space utilization.
Review daily production schedule based on the weekly plan and provide necessary actions to meet delivery commitments.
Regularly update management on line issues and drive resolution with support groups for continuous improvement actions.
Conduct meetings and update support groups and manufacturing operators on target goals and business situations.
Perform administrative functions such as people skill enhancement through training, recognition, and disciplinary actions if required.
Implement strict compliance on SOPs and specs to avoid deviations that affect product quality and cause delays.
Monitor manufacturing operator certifications and ensure full compliance with SOPs and quality standards.
Conduct regular coaching and counseling of operators.
Act as a quality advocate ensuring personnel perform tasks based on defined SOPs and instructions.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSECE, BSME, BSIE or BSEE) and 1‑year supervisory experience.
2‑3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing industry.
2 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing environment is preferred.
