Job summary

MicroSourcing, a Philippines-based security services provider, seeks a Security Operations Analyst to monitor phishing and BEC alerts, manage SIEM/EDR/MDR tooling, and lead incident investigations. The role includes developing response playbooks, proactive threat hunting, and communicating findings to diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT Security Operations experience in a multi-client or MSP setup.
• Strong hands-on experience with Office 365 and Azure.
• Experience with Business Email Filter platforms such as Barracuda and Proofpoint.
• Strong experience with SIEM, EDR, and MDR security tools.
• Solid understanding of incident response frameworks and digital forensics.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate email phishing alerts, BEC incidents, SIEM, and endpoint alerts, escalating threats as needed.
• Lead security incident investigations, including evidence collection, root cause analysis, and impact assessments.
• Develop and execute incident response playbooks to minimize response time and business disruption.
• Perform proactive threat hunting to identify security risks and mitigate threats before they occur.
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to communicate security findings and support incident resolution.
